Most people think that talking is the best way for people to communicate. What they don’t realize is that humans were communicating millions of years before they were actually speaking. Before speech, humans used what many animals use today, body language.
Body language is a great way to know what a person is really thinking about the conversation that you are having. You can even tell if they are lying sometimes.
Body language and lying is a set of skills that you don’t just get. You have to do research and find out what the typical person does when they are lying.
The easiest way to connect body language and lying is to examine what happens physiologically to a person when he or she is lying. When a person lies, their heart rate usually increases as the fear of being caught in a lie overtakes them. An elevated heart rate can make a person jittery, restless, and sweaty.
People who are lying typically look to the left side when they are creating facts in their head. These are some of the body language cues to look for if you suspect someone is lying to you.
There is much more information on body language and lying available on the Internet if you are interested in getting more information on the subject like the next video I found.
